Steve has been playing with various Blues Bands throughout the Bay Area for over 10 years. His love for Blues music extends into his diverse record collection and composing lyrics for original songs. Steve states his musical role in the band is to keep it simple and solid, he won't do solos. He feels his experience with his Generation Blue band mates is one of great opportunity and that being involved with such outstanding musicians (and great people) has been a privilege.

Steve Millard is the founding member of Generation Blue and is also involved in the promotion of Generation Blue and booking gigs. Under the name Lighthouse Audio Production, Steve provides sound reinforcement, recording and CD production for Generation Blue and other Bay Area bands.

Steve’s influences are John Bonham, Chad Smith, Mitch Mitchell, Pistol Allen, Bernard Purdie, Clyde Stubblefield, Jabo Starks, and David Garibaldi. His gigging kit is a silver sparkle Tama Star Classic which has a very retro look and a great sound.
