It has been my pleasure to sing and create music in Generation Blue for over two years now. We have had the opportunity to develop our own style, and I love it! In addition to our friendships, we have grown together as musicians. We have a great time playing, and I think you will see that when we perform.

I've been singing in front of people since I was 8 or 9, whether in choirs, or musicals/stage productions and have always loved it. Making a connection with an audience is a blast! I've had professional classical training off and on, as well as vocal lessons to broaden my range and develop my style.

I've been singing in bands since 1997, from oldies to top 40, rock to blues. But, by far, my favorite is the Blues. The Blues is not only a challenge to sing well, but really speaks of the spirit of the heart; happiness, hurt, love, sadness, hope, self- respect and of course, passion.

My influences have been (and still continue to be) Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Cecilia Bartoli, and Annie Lennox.

Remember, music can heal so much, and unite people in ways that words and customs cannot.  To be a part of musical creation is a dream come true.
