“Generation Blue” was coined by Steve Millard, combining a nickname given to Andy, “Kid Blue” and the generation difference between Andy and the other members of the band. Everything began when Steve invited Andy over to jam and work out a few songs. Things clicked and they immediately brought Mark in to complete the rhythm section. Chris sat in on a rehearsal a short time later and fit in so well she became a permanent member.
